# How do I make the club aware of my access needs, and what has changed at the ticket office?

Topic: Accessibility and Disabled Supporters

The club runs an accessible passport scheme: supporters with hidden disabilities can hold a card that lets stewards know reasonable adjustments are needed, mainly around toilet access. Thirteen passports had been issued by [October 2024](https://images.gc.barnsleyfcservices.co.uk/ae23dfa0-b7cd-11ef-a942-355e2000fd42.pdf), and three accessible toilets were made stoma-friendly with more to follow. Supporters have said the current card is too large and carries too much printed information, and the club agreed in [August 2026](https://images.gc.barnsleyfcservices.co.uk/a65debd0-ac45-11f1-a0bc-9359ad8c111a.pdf) to redesign it as a smaller card at the next print run.

The FAB has also asked whether access needs could be recorded once against a season ticket rather than explained on every visit. The club said this depends on the adjustment needed but agreed the principle is worth pursuing. Following a recent access audit, the club is looking at a priority queuing option for disabled supporters at the ticket office on matchdays and at clear signage for the lower, accessible counter in the refurbished ticket office, which Martin Wilson had pointed out was not obvious to someone who cannot see it. Lower serving counters at kiosks around the ground, a Level Playing Field recommendation, were included in the second phase of the capital works ([minutes of 18 March 2025](https://images.gc.barnsleyfcservices.co.uk/9b135860-2a72-11f0-b316-3d917fca0cba.pdf)). The club's access information on the Level Playing Field website was updated in December 2024.
