Agenda Item 1. - Actions from previous meeting (Dec 2024) RAG Rated (Red, Amber, Green) KD BFC to check and feedback back minutes submitted BFC Session to show form/ Issue Tracker. PG Teams Meeting: Ongoing Create website and demo to FAB. PG ASAP: Ongoing Agenda Item 2. - Previous minutes ALL The Minutes of the November FAB Meetings have now been signed off pending publication on BFC Website. No Specific Actions for the log recorded for Agenda Item 2. Agenda Item 3. – Priority – Match Commentary for Disabled MW/All MW emailed Exeter City about commentary. Received conflicting details from them about commentary. JF recommended a constructive letter to be written to Trevor Birch. JF to co-sign with full details. Require clarity of which clubs have signed to it. Should sanctions/pressure be applied? JF said he may be able to raise at the Feb 25 Club conference. MW said he needs to hear a proper commentary of the game. Discussed purchasing a microphone for hospital radio and prices. PH to get prices. DW and RRT offered to buy one. Actions – EDI to be a regular agenda item. Chair and Co-Chair to create the letter. MW to record a 1 minute video through the club as a follow up to the letter. Agenda Item 4. – Hot water in East Stand Toilets CC CC raised issue through HL about the water being cold in the ladies’ toilets in upper and lower East Stand. JF explained that tanks are used for this water, and it is used quickly on match days. Costs between £25 to £30K to make improvements . DW No specific actions extra to commentary 2 suggested CAPEX pays for this. Discuss had around cost and sanitary items in ladies toilets. Agenda Item 5. Oakwell residents parking issues HL HL highlighted issues for supporters and residents using the surrounding streets of Oakwell. Residents have complained of not being allowed to their homes before kick off and JF explained the 30mins before kick-off rules. HL and residents are concerned about supporters parking on side streets then driving off when 11K supporters are leaving the stadium with no concern or respect for the supporter’s safety. Action Log Agenda Item 5: HL to meet DW to look at the parking issues on next home game. HL asked this to be an ongoing agenda item until further notice Agenda Item 6. – FAB 2025 Engagement Plan AG AG highlighted the need for an engagement calendar. All agreed this was a good idea. KD to meet with supporters groups to discuss. Action Log Agenda Item 6: KD and AG to work together to create Calendar of events. Agenda Item 7. – Executive Suite Evacuation Policy- Wheelchair users MW MW highlighted the need for a policy. JF there is an evac policy and all stewards are fully trained to evac wheelchair users. JF to locate fire safety certificate. MW enquired about a respite area on East Stand stairwells– JF said not possible in Evac area. Action Log Agenda Item 7: JF to locate fire cert Agenda Item 8 – Fanzone update JF JF not going to be in South Stand Car Park due to the land sloping and power issues. Also due to the size it would be better situated behind the East Stand. This will mean it will also be bigger. Planning will be applied for immediately after the surveys. No Specific Actions for the log recorded for Agenda Item 8. Agenda Item 9 – Memorial Garden at Oakwell All The group felt this agenda item would be best served through discussions. There was a lot of ideas articulated from the group as to where this would be best positioned. HL suggested the one at LCFC and the Manchester Arena memorial. Question raised – how these are kept safe and harm free. Monitored and undamaged? Action Log Agenda Item 9: All to look at Football and other memorials and each send or bring an example to next meeting. Agenda Item 10. – AOB All Flag Bearers – See Steve Croft Asked if we could contact Foster Carers – can we do something for them and the children they look after DW said if there were any groups who would like to attend to let him know and he can get them tickets. Callum Simpson Sheffield Fight – JF said not opening exec suite Seating – all fans must be seated – No Exceptions End of Season dinner was discussed – Date TBC • In Legends • Black tie dinner Seating and tables for East Stand as we’ve had before so that fans and sit and eat as there isn’t enough standing space – JB to ask All agreed to 2025 meeting dates.
