Agenda, Discussions, Issues
Topic / Discussion Notes Discussion led by
1. Minutes and feedback
MW has tried to get other FAB contact details from LPF to discuss the accessible
commentary available at their clubs. No details have been obtained so MW is going
to contact the Intouch programme.
View from the disabled corner stand is ongoing. Not all views are restricted. Not at
capacity in the room and Box Office are contacting supporters to speak to them
about their view.
PG to pull together the questions to send to JF for the ownership group.
Community Trust and Steve Croft, who is a club volunteer and who runs the flag
bearing package on a matchday, have said that they can utilise the tickets from DW.
SB to organise a separate call to discuss the terms of reference with the FAB. Also
going to discuss the wider supporter meeting with FAB.
2. Hospitality and Capex update
Contractor appointed for the hospitality works and we have people on site today
starting the works. 8 – 12 weeks for the works to be complete. Legends suite is the
main focus of the initial works. The remaining works in the executive boxes, box
bar area and the Premier Suite will be completed after the Legends work. The
Commercial team are in the process of contacting the hospitality clients to inform
them of any changes to their matchday experience.
The South Stand frontage works, and the reconfiguration of the box office and
main reception area is in the planning process with a decision due in August. This
also includes the East Stand cladding works.
3. Conway and the implications for BFC
Zero impact on Barnsley FC. They have a minimal shareholding in the club.
4. Barnsley Sea Cadets – John Daley
HL invited John Daley to the meeting to discuss the Barnsley Sea Cadets. John has
been at the Sea Cadets since December and has won a growth award for the group
withing 3 months. John is exploring ways in which the Sea Cadets can work with
the FAB, the club and the Community Trust to help these young people be
prepared for adulthood.
JB to speak with HL to obtain John’s contact details and will set up a meeting with
the community trust.

AG mentioned that there has been a conversation about walking to away grounds
from Oakwell when we play our local rivals. Each walk could be for a charity and
AG mentioned one of them could be designated to the Sea Cadets.
This organisation could also use the tickets from DW.
If we have a match take over then we could speak to the cadets in the local area of
the away club to see if they are willing to attend the fixture to have a colab on the
day.
5. Independent fan survey
FAB and the club acknowledge the survey results. Once analysed, the club will look
to implement any changes which are practical.
FAB are going to review the results too and SB will call Daniel Simms to discuss.
6. George Robledo Blue Plaque
FAB are looking at using crowd funding to possibly look at funding a blue plaque on
the side of the stadium for George Robledo. Questions have been raised about the
plaque being for George and not anyone else. SB to contact David Wood, club
historian to discuss other potential names for a blue plaque.
7. 2025/26 match ticket pricing
Match ticket prices have been frozen for the 2025/26 season in line with the
season ticket price freeze. A Category C pricing has been introduced this season.
The club are looking to sell tickets using this CAT C pricing for the first game of the
season against Burton Albion.
8. Future meeting dates
Next meeting 5th August on Microsoft Teams.
